Heidi Emery - Clinical Director/Clinical Psychologist

Heidi Emery is a Clinical Psychologist with a Master of Clinical Psychology (Distinction) and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from The University of Newcastle. She specialises in neuro-affirming assessments, therapies, and supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families through a strengths-based approach.

Heidi is deeply passionate about fostering resilience, understanding, and acceptance in her clients and their families. She is dedicated to helping individuals unlock their potential, embrace their uniqueness, and build a fulfilling life in a supportive and compassionate environment.

Heidi provides comprehensive assessments for:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Intellectual Disabilities, Educational and Learning Disorders, Personality Disorders, and Mental Health Assessments

Emma Bayliss - Therapy Assistant

Emma is a dedicated and passionate Allied Health Assistant supporting diverse client populations. She holds a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and is completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science at the University of Newcastle, and a Diploma of Counselling. She is currently in the final term of her undergraduate degree, for which she has received multiple awards for outstanding academic performance. Emma aims to engage in further education, with the aspiration of becoming a Clinical Psychologist. 

Emma has over three years of experience working as an Allied Health Assistant under the clinical supervision of Occupational Therapists and Psychologists. She has supported a diverse client population, ranging from 5 to 45 years old, including individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Mood Disorders, Educational and Learning Disorders, Speech and Language Impairments, Intellectual Disability, Sensory Processing Disorder and complex behavioural difficulties. 

Under the guidance of her clinical supervisor Heidi Emery, Emma possesses a strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and a comprehensive knowledge of current psychological research. She excels in developing meaningful relationships with her clients and assists in the development and implementation of individualised therapy plans that address unique client needs and goals. Emma exhibits a strong commitment to learning and has engaged in multiple academic opportunities alongside her professional experience. 

Emma adopts a person-centred and holistic approach rooted in values of curiosity and connection. With a steadfast commitment to making a meaningful difference, she approaches her work with openness and empathy, enabling her to support each client in their unique journey. Emma takes great pride in creating a nurturing environment that fosters growth, empowerment, and resilience.
